Tide Times...

If you are planning on bring your own craft over to the island it is advised to benifit from the High Tide times of the day to plan your island transfers in the Morning and Afternoon eah day of the week around either 8:00am for a Maputo>Inhaca morning crossing, or a afternoon 3:00pm Departure time for a return trip from the island back to Maputo...

Of couse the size of your craft could give you a wider tidal time frame in which to undertake a crossing and while the Maputo Marina enterance is at least 1 Meter Deep at low tide times, the tide depth around the island at the Jetty etc or oppersite the lodge can get very low at Low Tide times during the day...

Maputo Marina Info:

The privately owned and "fully serviced" Maputo Marina (below) can provide it's clients and visitors with Fuel, Water, Shore Power and floating moorings, and is the ideal Marina location in Maputo to bring (from land or sea) your own craft/boat/yacht etc, where you can safely moor, launch and park/store your vehciles/trailers while you are just visiting the island for the day or while staying on the island for an extended Fishing, Diving or Yacthing vacation....
